the forum owner has made it plain that he calls the shots and not everything expressed by posters will be accepted.. folks, that's thev way it's always been here.

Tell Us About Your JW Father If You Had One.
by new boy inwe are great friends now....but he wasn't much of a father growing up.. worked all the time...we went on few vacations....pretty much pussy whipped my my nazis jw mother.. he never did believe in the whole jw thing.
he just when along with it, for my mothers sake.. she never did respect him for not being a "spiritual head" and pretty much let us kids know about it.. i, like my mother became very self rightious and judgmental.. i wished now he had just came to me just once and said "keith maybe the jws are not the people you think they are.
" but he was to afraid of my mother to say that...even though he knew it to be true.i would have never believed him....back then....but it would have planted a seed.... .

father was a MS, didn't spare the rod and never learned how to express feelings. i hated him with a passion. from the age of about 13 i stopped talking to him, didn't even greet him when we passed on the stairs.
later on i kinda brought everything into perspective, the mind control, the relative poverty we lived in, his own parents not treating him any different and all that. so i stopped hating him, and now we exchange a few words now and then, but there's no such thing as a father-son relationship.

If I ran the WTS ...
by Simon in... and wanted to disrupt sites like this one and activities of 'apostates' in general, what would i do?.
would i send apologists who were obviously on the side of the wts to spew out the typical wts message, ones that would be quickly labelled and disagreed with?
maybe ... it would get people riled up.

How can I convince my parents to vote?

but anyways, for the canadians on this board you all know there is the federal ellection in one month.
now i do remember there are a number of articals that say, or rather don't say its not allowed to vote.

i wonder what's the problem of being critizised? that was one of my number one points in the letter i sent to an elder, that they don't stand critizism. i told him, if the critizism is unfounded, you can dismiss it. if it is spot on on the other hand, it should be accepted. critizism is nothing to be afraid of!
